Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards of a value less than 10 are of their printed number whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they merely appear as the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand shall be the total of the two cards, but the very first digit is dropped. For e.g., a hand of 7 and five will have a total score of 2 (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be dealt depending on the following regulations:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of eight or nine, each players stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the player hits, a chart will be used to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores wins. Victorious stakes on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have cash remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie by and large pay out eight to one but occasionally nine to 1. (This is an awful wager as ties will occur less than one every ten hands. Definitely don’t try putting money on a tie. However odds are positively better – nine to 1 vs. 8 to one)

When played properly, baccarat provides pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an indicator of future results. Tracking of historic conclusions on a chart is simply a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and almost certainly most successful tactic is the one-three-two-6 scheme. This tactic is used to accentuate winnings and lowering risk.

Begin by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away four so you have 2 on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum of six on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the initial bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
