Punto Banco Principles
Baccarat banque is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below 10 are counted at face value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For example, a hand of five and six has a total of one (five plus six equals eleven; ditch the initial ‘one’).
A third card will be given using the rules below:
- If the player or house has a value of eight or 9, the two players hold.
- If the gambler has five or lower, he hits. Players otherwise hold.
- If the player stays, the house takes a card on a total lower than 5. If the player takes a card, a chart is employed to figure out if the banker stands or takes a card.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (equal money less a 5% commission. Commission are kept track of and cleared out once you depart the game so ensure you have cash around before you leave). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning bets for tie typically pays out at eight to one but sometimes 9:1. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs less than one in every ten rounds. Avoid putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)
Wagered on properly punto banco offers pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method
As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few common myths. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future outcomes. Keeping track of previous results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most accepted and likely the most accomplished method is the one, three, two, six tactic. This method is deployed to build up profits and minimizing risk.
Start by placing 1 unit. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a sum of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you are left with 2 on the 3rd bet. If you succeed on the 3rd wager, add 2 to the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth round.
If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the initial wager followed by a hit on the second causes a loss of two. Success on the 1st two with a hit on the third gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a defeat on the fourth means you experience no loss. Succeeding at all four wagers gives you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you can not win on the 2nd wager five instances for every successful streak of four rounds and in the end, are even.
