Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed number and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the beginning number is dropped. e.g., a hand of five and six has a score of one (five plus 6 equals eleven; dump the first ‘one’).
A third card may be given out using the following rules:
- If the player or bank achieves a score of 8 or 9, the two players stand.

- If the gambler stands, the house hits on a total lower than five. If the gambler hits, a chart is employed to figure out if the banker holds or hits.
Baccarat Banque Odds

Baccarat Scheme
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has quite a few general misconceptions. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of future outcomes.
