Baccarat Chemin de Fer Regulations

Baccarat chemin de fer is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are valued at their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the cards, although the beginning number is dumped. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a value of one (five plus 6 equals eleven; ignore the first ‘one’).

A third card may be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of eight or 9, both players stand.

- If the player has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the gambler stands, the banker hits on a total less than five. If the player takes a card, a chart is employed to see if the banker stays or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The better of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a 5 percent rake. The Rake is tracked and paid off once you leave the table so be sure to still have cash left over just before you head out). Winning wagers on the gambler pays one to one. Winning wagers for tie normally pays out at eight to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is a awful bet as ties happen less than one in every ten rounds. Avoid wagering on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9:1 vs. eight to one)

Bet on correctly baccarat offers pretty good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method

As with all games Baccarat has some accepted myths. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of events yet to happen. Recording previous results at a table is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.

The most established and possibly the most successful strategy is the one, three, two, six technique. This method is employed to build up winnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by betting 1 chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a total of 3 chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will have six on the table, remove four so you keep 2 on the 3rd bet. Should you succeed on the third wager, deposit 2 to the four on the game table for a total of six on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the initial three with a hit on the fourth means you experience no loss. Succeeding at all four wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you can squander the second bet 5 instances for every favorable run of four rounds and in the end, break even.
