Punto Banco Policies and Plan

Baccarat Policies

Punto banco is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are worth their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the total of the cards, however the first number is dropped. For example, a hand of five and six has a score of one (5 plus six = eleven; dump the 1st ‘one’).

A third card will be given out based on the rules below:

- If the gambler or house has a total of 8 or nine, both players stand.

- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the gambler holds, the bank takes a card on five or lower. If the player hits, a guide is employed to see if the banker stays or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The better of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19:20 (even payout less a 5 percent rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out when you quit the table so be sure to have money around just before you head out). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie frequently pays 8:1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten hands. Be wary of betting on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9:1 vs. 8:1)

Gambled on properly punto banco gives fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Course of Action

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a few established myths. One of which is close to a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of events yet to happen. Tracking previous outcomes at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most accepted and probably the most acknowledged method is the one-three-two-six method. This technique is used to pump up earnings and minimizing risk.

Start by wagering one chip. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have 6 on the game table, pull off 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd round. Should you come away with a win on the third wager, add 2 to the four on the game table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you do not win on the first round, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first round followed by a hit on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a gain of two. And wins on the initial 3 with a defeat on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you are able to give up the second bet 5 times for every favorable streak of 4 wagers and still break even.
