Punto Banco Policies

Baccarat chemin de fer is gambled on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, although the 1st number is ignored. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a score of 1 (5 plus six equals eleven; ditch the 1st ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be given out using the following rules:

- If the player or banker gets a score of 8 or nine, the two players stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, she hits. Players stands otherwise.

- If the player stands, the banker hits on five or less. If the gambler takes a card, a table is used to decide if the bank stays or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (equal money less a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out once you leave the game so make sure you still have funds left just before you leave). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie normally pay 8:1 but on occasion nine to one. (This is a poor wager as ties happen lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for nine to one versus 8:1)

Gambled on correctly baccarat banque provides generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Scheme

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a few general false impressions. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of events about to happen. Recording previous results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.

The most common and possibly the most successful method is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This method is used to build up profits and minimizing risk.

Start by wagering one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a sum of three dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will hold 6 on the game table, pull off four so you are left with 2 on the third bet. Should you win the 3rd round, put down two on the four on the game table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the 1st wager, you take a hit of one. A win on the initial round followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Success on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a hit on the 4th means you are even. Succeeding at all four bets gives you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you will be able to squander the second bet 5 instances for each favorable run of 4 wagers and still balance the books.
