Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than ten are counted at face value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand will be the sum total of the two cards, but the first digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of 7 … 5 results in a score of two (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be played depending on the foll. codes:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of eight or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart is used to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores will be the winner. Winning bets on the banker pay at 19 to twenty (even odds minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have money left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie commonly pays out at 8 to 1 and on occasion 9 to one. (This is an awful gamble as ties will happen lower than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from wagering on a tie. Nevertheless odds are decidedly better – nine to one vs. 8 to one)

When done correctly, baccarat offers fairly good odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is not an indicator of future outcomes. Monitoring of previous outcomes on a chart is undoubtedly a complete waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful technique is the 1-3-2-six scheme. This schema is used to increase successes and lowering risk.

start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away 4 so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the four on the table for a sum of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Getting a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means that you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
