Baccarat Policies
Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are of a value less than ten are worth their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they strictly depict the 2 hands to be given out).
Two hands of 2 cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for each hand shall be the sum total of the two cards, but the initial digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as five gives a total score of 2 (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).
A third card could be given depending on the foll. guidelines:
- If the gambler or banker has a total of eight or nine, then both gamblers stand.
- If the gambler has 5 or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.
- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart might be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The higher of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the banker pay 19 to 20 (even odds minus a five % commission. Baccarat Tactics
