Punto Banco Practices and Method

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules

Baccarat is enjoyed with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are worth face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the cards, although the 1st number is discarded. e.g., a hand of five and six has a total of one (five plus six = eleven; ignore the first ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be given out depending on the following rules:

- If the player or house achieves a total of 8 or nine, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has less than five, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the gambler holds, the house hits on 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a guide is used to see if the house stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The higher of the 2 totals wins. Winning bets on the bank payout nineteen to Twenty (equal money less a five percent rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out when you quit the game so make sure you have cash left over just before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pays one to one. Winning bets for tie usually pay eight to one but on occasion nine to one. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)

Wagered on correctly baccarat chemin de fer provides generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Banque Strategy

As with all games Baccarat has a few common myths. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future events. Recording previous results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary desires.

The most accepted and likely the most acknowledged plan is the one-three-two-six technique. This tactic is employed to build up earnings and minimizing losses.

Start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a sum of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you win you will retain 6 on the game table, remove four so you keep 2 on the 3rd round. Should you succeed on the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th bet.

Should you don’t win on the initial round, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first round followed by a loss on the second causes a hit of 2. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And success on the first three with a defeat on the 4th means you balance the books. Succeeding at all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to not win on the second wager 5 times for each successful run of 4 rounds and in the end, are even.
