Baccarat Chemin de Fer Standards
Baccarat chemin de fer is wagered on with eight decks in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the total of the two cards, although the beginning number is ignored. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of 1 (5 plus six = eleven; ignore the first ‘1′).
A additional card may be given out using the rules below:
- If the player or house has a score of 8 or 9, both players stand.
- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. Players stands otherwise.
- If the player stays, the bank hits on 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a guide is employed to determine if the house stays or takes a card.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The better of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the house pay out 19:20 (equal money minus a five percent rake. The Rake is kept track of and paid off once you quit the table so ensure you have funds around just before you depart). Winning wagers on the player pays out at one to one. Winning bets for a tie normally pays 8:1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad bet as ties occur lower than one in every 10 rounds. Be wary of betting on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 vs. 8:1)
Played properly baccarat gives relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Scheme
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has quite a few general misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events about to happen. Tracking previous results on a sheet of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.
The most familiar and probably the most successful scheme is the one, three, two, six plan. This plan is deployed to pump up winnings and limit losses.
Start by betting 1 chip. If you succeed, add another to the two on the game table for a sum total of three chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will hold six on the game table, subtract 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. Should you succeed on the 3rd bet, deposit two on the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth bet.
If you don’t win on the 1st round, you take a hit of one. A win on the first wager followed by a hit on the second creates a hit of two. Success on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you with a take of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Succeeding at all four wagers gives you with 12, a take of 10. This means you are able to squander the 2nd wager 5 times for each successful run of 4 wagers and in the end, are even.
